    Farid Ahmed

    Managing Partner

    Farid Ahmed is the Managing Partner of the Virtus Group of Companies in UAE, UK and India. His key role is to lead the Virtus group partners, Associates and Employees to work in alliance with the group clientele and work towards the collective growth of both clients and the Virtus Group vertical businesses.

     

    He is an executive strategy leader and true management consultant, with stretching years of achievements in Organization Development, Strategic Finance and HR Management. Has won several Global Awards for his contribution and passion in Organisation/Business Strategy & HR and a noted speaker and panelist on Business Strategy and various HR vertical subjects in many EMEA & APAC conferences, forums and magazines.

     

    Has a rich career history which spans across several industries including semi-government & the big 4 consulting and fortune companies worldwide including: PwC, Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN), United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), Emaar Properties, Xpert Learning, IBFI, Proctor & Gamble (P&G) and Compaq.

     

    His indirect work experience during his consulting includes clients such as: Manazel Real Estate, Saudi Investment Company (Banaja), Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD), Abn-Amro, National Bank of Dubai, Siemens, Ducab, Zadco, Visa, Nestle, Alstom, Emirates Airlines, Qatar Petroleum, NPCC, Adco, Gargash Insurance, MMI, UPS, Nissan, KNPC, Boursa Kuwait (Nasdaq), Caltex, EFS, DEWA, Palmon Group, Motorola and Dubai DutyFree.

     

    He is experienced in several “Start-up” companies in the last 18 years in the US, UK, Middle East and Asia. Has raised Angel/Seed Capital Investments and other working capital of over US$: 220Million for private and public entities. Has managed budgets of over US$: 700 Million in corporate performance and spends in the EMEA region. Has experienced several life cycles of implementing and operating corporate-wide Change Management strategies and initiatives for fortune 500 companies across the globe, alongside implementing performance management systems based on competency frameworks, and mapping/executing talent management solutions across the board and linking it to total rewards. He has also executed 6 major mergers & acquisitions of companies in the EMEA region, with complete transformation experience.

     

    Farid has a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Oklahoma State University and Regis University, USA and a master’s degree in organizational psychology from India. He has also completed his executive management studies in HR Strategy from the ILR School in Cornell University and is a Certified Psychometric Assessor (CPA) Level 1 & 2 Trainer.

    Anand Kumar

    Director - QMS & Transactional Services

    Anand Kumar is Director – QMS & Transactional Services in the Virtus Group of Companies. He is also the General Manager of the Virtus Facilities Management Services. Anand has over 17 years of Experience in the field of Organizational Excellence & Strategy development, he has developed strategies that are sustainable for long term using internationally proven Business Excellence Models & Integrated Management Systems. He has worked with large public & private sector organizations in both manufacturing & service industry, and has trained over 4000
    personnel in various management system concepts. Even though Anand comes from a technical background, he possess strong management capabilities and leadership competence to manage complex projects and enable growth and project execution success.

     

    He has implemented management systems such as Quality / Environment directly in Billion Dollar groups like TVS Group & Murugappa Group in Southern India, Al Rostamani Group and Al Fahim Group in the Middle East and indirectly through consulting in large companies like Nicholas Piramal Pharmaceutical Ltd. (Pharamceutical), Vizag Seaport Ltd. ( Seaport), Murugappa Morgan Ceramics Ltd. (Ceramics), Essar Hy-grade Pellets Ltd. (Iron ore pellet manufacturing), Hindustan Zinc Ltd (Zinc), Ennore Thermal Power Plant (Electricity), Carborundum Universal Ltd. (Abrasives & Ceramics), Bank of India (Bank), Tata Honeywell (Software development), Prolease India Pvt Ltd (BPO).
    His experience in management systems implementation cuts across different industry sectors such as Commercial Banks, Financial Institutions, Educational Institutions, IT & IT Enabled services, Logistics & Shipping, Sea Ports, Automotive Sales & Services, Auto Components, Steel, Textile, Thermal Power Plants, Sugar Mills, Chemical & Distilleries, Polymers, Waste Management, Pharma, Testing Laboratories, Abrasives, Ceramics & Engineering, Real Estate development, Commercial Catering.

     

    He has spearheaded the development of the 5-year Corporate strategy of a large family-owned business conglomerate in the UAE. He has helped organizations to adopt principles of excellence (EFQM framework) to reduce costs & improve profitability, improve processes, save time, save resources, enhance stakeholder satisfaction levels, win recognitions and awards. He is a Team leader / Senior Assessor for Dubai Quality Award / Dubai Human Development Award, very prestigious award programs of the Government of Dubai developed to enable sustainable growth among the business community of the Middle East.

     

    Anand holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Madras, India. He is also a Certified Assessor for DQA (Based on EFQM), Govt. of Dubai, UAE and a Certified Lead Assessor/Auditor for Quality Management Systems, IIC, Korea.

    Director – Audit & Financial Advisory

    Sanjiv Khanduja is Director – Audit & Financial Advisory at Virtus Consulting. He is also the Chief Financial Officer of the Virtus Group of Companies in UAE, UK and India.

     

    His role is to lead the Virtus Group Partners, Associates and Employees to work in alliance with the group clientele and work towards the financial growth of the business, develop both clients and the Virtus Group vertical businesses. He is an executive strategy leader and true financial consultant, with stretching years of achievements in Financial Restructuring, Strategic Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, ProjectManagement SOX Implementation & Finance Controllership. Has actively seeded, groomed and activated several “Start-up” companies in the last 15 years in the US, UK, Middle East and USA.

     

    Has raised Angel/Seed Capital Investments and other working capital of over US$: 50Million for private entities. Has managed budgets of over US$: 200 Million in corporate performance and spends in the EMEA & India region.

    Sanjiv has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University, India and is a Chartered Accountant from India. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

    Ravish C.K

    Director - People & Organizatoin Advisory

    Ravish C K is the Director - HR Services with Virtus. He brings in 27 plus years of varied experience in managing Human Resources in MNCs, family owned businesses in India and the middle east. He held the position of Chief Human Capital Officer with a MNC and was incharge of the business performance and strategic HCM activities for the global offices of the company. In his illustrious career he has had start up experiences, talent sourcing and deployment of senior positions, organization development and behavior modification assignments. He has done the “Go to Market” strategy and executed the business setup, development and commercial stabilization in markets such as Vietnam, Pakistan, Qatar, Philippines, CIS Countries, Bangladesh and more over the last decade.

     

    Ravish is a trained job analyst, a senior quality assessor (EFQM model) and a trainer. Prior to joining Virtus, Ravish led the HR team of a $12 Bn Indian multi-national at their middle east operations. Ravish had been the international adviser or the World HRD Congress in 2009 and also held membership of couple of HR associations in Dubai.

     

    Ravish has completed his MA in HR with a distinction from the University of Madras and also management development programs with Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad. Ravish speaks English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and understands German and Arabic.
